A survey of Muslim women has revealed the vast majority do not think of themselves as oppressed. The poll, taken last year (05) by The Gallup Organization, quizzed over 8,000 women in eight countries predominantly made up of Muslims. It also found that Muslim ladies believe they should have the right to work for a living, work in government and be able to vote independently. (GES/WNWNT/SH)
