FALLON, Nev. (AP) — A house fire in Fallon has claimed the life of a 54-year-old man.

Churchill County Sheriff's Office confirms Ernest Nadeau of Fallon died Tuesday at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno.

KOLO-TV reports (http://tinyurl.com/lju6vcb) his wife and a passer-by pulled him from the burning home on Gummow Drive about 11 p.m. Monday.

He was flown to the hospital by helicopter for treatment of burns. His cause of death hasn't been determined.

The Nevada State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
