LAS VEGAS (AP) — The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal rollover over the weekend on Interstate 215 in Las Vegas.
The patrol says a 24-year-old man was killed after he lost control of his jeep and rolled over near Sahara about 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
He was taken to University Medical Center where he later died.
Trooper Loy Hixson says the man was the only person in the truck. A preliminary investigation suggests he was driving too fast and that alcohol may have been involved.
The victim's name has not been released.
