LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas police are looking for a suspect in a hit-and-run accident west of the Strip that killed an elderly woman and critically injured her son.
Police say the driver of a GMC Yukon fled after colliding with three different vehicles near the intersection of Charleston and Arville about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Investigators say the woman was in an Oldsmobile that collided with the Yukon before slamming into the wall of the Flex Cocktail Lounge. The Yukon driver then hit two other minivans before fleeing the scene on foot.
A bartender told KTNV-TV (http://tinyurl.com/prkr2r2) the suspect ducked into the lounge then ran out the back door.
Las Vegas Police Lt. Richard Tusko says they aren't sure who caused the initial crash.
The injured man was hospitalized in critical condition.
