OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (AP) — The Ocean Springs School District and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College have signed an agreement for the junior college to offer courses to high school students.
Four college courses will courses will be offered to juniors and seniors at Ocean Springs High School this fall. They are Algebra, English Composition I, Introduction to Psychology and Introduction to Sociology.
The agreement was signed this past week.
Ocean Springs superintendent Bonita Coleman-Potter says 200 students have registered for the classes.
Students can earn a maximum of 14 college credit hours.
