OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (AP) — An investigation is underway into shootings at a Jewish community center and retirement community in Overland Park, Kan., that has claimed the lives of three people. The police chief says shots were fired behind the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City in a parking lot, and two males died. Shots were reported minutes later at the Village Shalom retirement community, where one female died. A man in his 70s, who is not from Kansas, is in custody.

UNITED NATIONS (AP) — The U.N. Security Council is meeting tonight to discuss the growing crisis in Ukraine. It's an emergency meeting called at Russia's request. The meeting comes as the new Ukrainian government declared it would deploy armed forces to quash an increasingly bold pro-Russian insurgency in its eastern region.

RED BLUFF, Calif. (AP) — There's no physical evidence that a FedEx truck was on fire before it slammed into a bus carrying high school students, killing 10 people in Northern California. That's according to federal investigators who say they aren't ruling out a pre-impact fire. The driver of a sideswiped car says the truck was on fire when it careened out of control across a freeway median.

CARLSBAD, N.M. (AP) — Water samples from three reservoirs near the federal government's underground nuclear waste dump in southeastern New Mexico show no signs of contamination after a radiation leak at the plant in February. Waste Isolation Pilot Plant officials say independent researchers found the samples had no trace amounts of radioactive particles.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — Bubba Watson is the Masters winner for the second time in three years. Spieth finished the day with a 72. The winning tournament score was 8-under 280.
