BAGHDAD (AP) — At least 15 people have been killed today in violence across Iraq.
In the deadliest of the day's attacks, gunmen broke into homes in a town south of the capital and kidnapped six men. All were later found shot to death.
No one claimed the slayings and the motive behind the killing was unclear. Shiit
Elsewhere, authorities say three policemen were killed in the northern city of Tikrit (tih-KREET') when a suicide bomber rammed a fuel tanker into a police headquarters. Two bombings in commercial areas near Baghdad killed six people.
The attacks come amid escalating sectarian violence in Iraq.
