ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) — Fury Kapcori won the $75,000 Santana Mile Stakes for older horses by three-quarters of a length at Santa Anita on Sunday.
Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, Fury Kapcori ran the distance in 1:34.50 and paid $3.80, $2.40 and $2.10 as the 4-5 favorite.
Appealing Tale returned $3 and $2.10, while Clubhouse Ride was another 2¾ lengths back in third and paid $2.10 to show.
The victory, worth $46,800, increased Fury Kapcori's career earnings to $419,880, with five wins in 13 starts.
