ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) — Boozer won the $60,000 Orbit Purse by 2¾ lengths at Santa Anita on Friday coming off a nine-month break.

Ridden by Edwin Maldonado, Boozer ran 6½ furlongs on the downhill turf course in 1:12.09 and paid $42.20, $15.20 and $5.60 at 20-1 odds.

Royal F J returned $7.40 and $3.60, while 7-5 favorite A Toast to You was another nose back in third and paid $2.60 to show.

The victory, worth $36,000, increased Boozer's career earnings to $84,240, with two wins in five starts.
