CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Authorities say they found one person dead after a small plane crash outside of Carson City.
Officials with the Carson City Sheriff's Office say they were informed of the crash about 2 p.m. Sunday when a sheriff's pilot spotted wreckage in the Pinion Hills.
Rescuers confirmed one person was dead at the site.
Recovery efforts were expected to resume on Monday.
