BOSTON (AP) — A hip-hop video contest will be held for Boston high school students during the city's participation in National Youth Violence Prevention Week.

The contest is among a series of events planned for the week of April 7 through 11.

The top three winners of the video contest will be announced April 10. The grand prize includes four Red Sox tickets, as well as the song and video being spotlighted on a local radio station.

A poster contest is planned for children in kindergarten through Grade 5. Middle school students are encouraged to write poems reflecting the anti-violence message.

The events have been organized by the Boston Police Department, Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, Boston Centers for Youth and Families, Suffolk County Sheriff's Department and the U.S. Attorney's Office.
