RENO, Nev. (AP) — A rural Nevada sheriff's deputy is accused of stopping travelers on a lonely stretch of Interstate 80 and confiscating tens of thousands of dollars for the county without bringing charges. The charges are contained in federal lawsuits by two men who say they were stopped by Humboldt County Deputy Lee Dove. The county district attorney's office declined to comment.

OVERTON, Nev. (AP) — A 72-year-old Las Vegas tour guide died when she was pinned against a rock by her SUV while trying to stop the vehicle from rolling away. Investigators say the accident occurred yesterday morning at the Valley of Fire State Park. Police told KSNV-TV that several tourists were with her in the park when she was killed.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — U.S. immigration officials say IBF light middleweight champion Carlos Molina faces deportation following his arrest in Las Vegas ahead of a scheduled weekend fight. Immigration and Customs Enforcement says the 30-year-old Molina was previously deported in 2006. Molina was arrested Tuesday by Las Vegas police on a felony warrant issued in Wisconsin.

PHOENIX (AP) — A man who fled Arizona after being convicted of first-degree murder and child abuse in 2012 has been arrested in Nevada. The U.S. Marshals Service says Jose Lopez was taken into custody last night at a Las Vegas apartment complex. Pinal County prosecutors say Lopez fled the courthouse during a lunch recess.
