HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) — Marshall University has set aside two days for spring graduates to take care of some details ahead of the May commencement ceremonies.

The "Countdown to Commencement" begins Tuesday at the Memorial Student Center. It allows students to take care of a number of pre-commencement responsibilities in one central location.

Representatives of the registrar's office will be on hand so students can verify how they want their name to appear on their diploma, make sure the university has the right mailing address and verify graduation status. Students also can be measured for and buy their caps and gowns and class rings, have cap and gown portraits taken, buy diploma frames and meet with officials about graduate programs and career services.

Two commencement ceremonies are set for May 10.
