BEYONCE'S DAD PAYS LOWER CHILD SUPPORT

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A judge has agreed with Beyonce's father that he should pay less in child support because his income dropped after she fired him as her manager. A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has ordered Mathew Knowles to pay actress Alexsandra Wright about $2,500 a month to support their four-year-old son. He had been paying $12,000 a month. Knowles must also pay $15,000 for Wright's legal fees. Beyonce' was not named in the filing, but the documents show Knowles' income dropped substantially since she fired him in 2011. Beyonce's mother filed for divorce in 2009 after nearly 30 years of marriage after Knowles was named in Wright's paternity case.

KRISTIN CHENOWETH DISCUSSES HER ASTHMA

NEW YORK (AP) — Kristin Chenoweth kept getting sick and didn't know why. It took her years to figure out she had asthma. Chenoweth says she noticed her breathing problems after 9/11. She did her entire run of "Wicked" on Broadway thinking she had bronchitis. Chenoweth says it wasn't until she did the TV show "Pushing Daisies" that a doctor in Oklahoma diagnosed her. She's had her share of scares. She says she was onstage on Broadway in 2010 for the production "Promises, Promises" and could feel she couldn't catch her breath. She says she was lucky that there was a time that made sense for her to leave the stage and get her inhaler.

IDINA MENZEL STUMBLES INTO A POP HIT

NEW YORK (AP) — Idina Menzel (ih-DEE'-nah mehn-ZEHL') finally has a pop hit and she doesn't plan to capitalize on it. Menzel's version of "Let It Go" from "Frozen" has sold 1.5 million copies, outselling the official single version by Demi Lovato. Menzel says she's tried so hard to prove she's more than a Broadway star, and now that she has a pop hit, it's a Disney song. She plans to record more music but she's not rushing out an album. Until then, she will star in the Broadway musical "If/Then." She also recently cleared her schedule one day to "play dinosaurs" with her four-year-old son, Walker.

LARS VON TRIER FILM BANNED IN TURKEY

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — Turkey has banned the new Lars von Trier movie "Nymphomaniac Volume 1." The head of the country's Cinema General Directorate says its board voted that the film is "pushing the boundaries of porn." He says they decided against censoring the sex scenes because there were too many to cut out. "Nymphomaniac" comes out this month.

MICHAEL EALY - "ABOUT LAST NIGHT"

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Michael Ealy has not watched the 1986 movie "About Last Night," even though he's in an updated version of that film. Ealy didn't think he'd gain anything from that. He says he'd rather approach from a fresh perspective than do what Rob Lowe did. Ealy says the 1986 version was contemporary for that time, but the world is drastically different with the Internet. He says the new version reflects what's happening in 2014.
