Los Angeles (dpa) - Film star Julia Roberts, 38, is to be the new face for the cosmetic giant Avon, The New York Post reported Thursday.
The Pretty Woman star was expected to sign a contract by week's end - a million-dollar rehabilitation for the cancelled contract from rival cosmetics house Christian Dior some months ago.
Another Hollywood star, Salma Hayek, 39, represents Avon, which has also broadcast the face of tennis star Serena Williams.
