SPARKS, Nev. (AP) — Four Northern California men who went on shopping sprees at a Sparks sporting goods store have been arrested on suspicion of credit card fraud. Sparks police say they received calls from several Californians on Sunday complaining of fraudulent purchases on their credit cards at Scheels at the Legends mall.

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Carson City authorities are looking for two suspects responsible for vandalizing more than 40 properties with graffiti. Sheriff Ken Furlong says the rash of graffiti attacks occurred early Sunday, and property was damaged with spray paint or other means.

WELLINGTON, Nev. (AP) — The Nevada Highway Patrol says an 87-year-old man and his dog have died after his truck collided with a tractor-trailer hauling 10 bulls in western Nevada. Troopers say Samuel Dupuis of Wellington died at the scene of the crash yesterday afternoon.

TRUCKEE, Calif. (AP) — Rescuers say a woman died and her husband was critically injured when a single-engine plane crashed yesterday a few miles from California's Truckee Tahoe Airport. Placer County deputies say pilot Ray Farnell is hospitalized in Reno and his wife Darla Sue Farnell was dead at the scene. The couple was from Tahoe City. It was unknown why the plane crashed.
