DETROIT (AP) — A man who authorities say shot three people at a Detroit tax-preparation business has been charged with attempted murder, weapons violations and other crimes.
The Wayne County prosecutor's office says 19-year-old Xzavier Mazyck was arraigned Monday. He is being held on a $250,000 bond, and his Mazyck's probable cause hearing is scheduled for March 14.
Prosecutors say Mazyck got into an argument Friday with a tax preparer because a woman accompanying him wasn't able to get a cash tax refund at Tax City Tax Service.
Prosecutors say Mazyck shot a security guard and two women inside the building and beat a tax preparer. Police said earlier that four people were shot.
