SIGNIFICANT CONVECTION.

AREA OF NW SWELL ASSOCIATED WITH GALE FORCE WINDS IN NORTHERN

WATERS 2-3 DAYS AGO CONTINUES TO SWEEP SOUTHEASTWARD AND DECAY.

8 TO 12 FT SEAS ARE WITHIN AN AREA SE OF A LINE FROM 30N124W TO

13N140W AND NW OF A LINE FROM 19N105W TO 00N126W. NEW AREA OF

LARGE NW SWELL ASSOCIATED WITH INTENSE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IN

THE NORTH-CENTRAL PACIFIC SPREADING INTO NW PART OF DISCUSSION

AREA...WITH 8 TO 16 FT SEAS FROM 30N132W TO 20N140W.

WINDS WILL PULSE THROUGH THE GULF OF PAPAGAYO THE NEXT COUPLE OF

NIGHTS. HI-RES ASCAT SCATTEROMETER DATA AT 0350 UTC SHOWED LIGHT

WINDS...AN INDICATION PEAK WINDS EXPECTED LATER THIS MORNING

SHOULD REMAIN BELOW 25 KT.

LOOKING AHEAD...GFS MODEL SHOWS TEHUANTEPEC GAP WINDS REACHING

35 KT GALE FORCE LATE THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING...THEN

QUICKLY DIMINISHING TO BELOW 20 KT BY FRIDAY EVENING.
