NEW YORK (AP) — Cape Cod Carol rolled to an easy win Friday as the 3-5 favorite in the $62,720 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.
Eddie Castro guided the 5-year-old trained by Jim Ryerson to her fifth win in 27 starts. The time was 1:12.39 for six furlongs on the fast track.
Cape Cod Carol paid $3.50, $2.40 and $2.10. Love Contract, who finished 2½ lengths behind the winner, returned $4.50 and $3.10.
Stunning Lady paid $2.70 to show.
