This may be the most important day of Barack Obama's political life. He is giving a speech today in Philadelphia on the topic of race. He's been pushed to address the issue head on after controversial comments were made by his former paster, Reverend Jeremiah Wright, seen here in a picture from 2005.
ABC Reporter Vic Ratner is in Philadelphia and sets the scene for us. Click here to hear the interview. And ABC Newsman Sam Donaldson talked about the importance of the speech. He makes the point that Obama is speaking to white America in this speech. Click here to hear Sam's comments.

Guess how much he makes? He's the richest man in the world as named by this year's Forbes Magazine, and his salary is $100,000. It's been frozen, at his choosing, for more than 25 years.

A Burger Joint adds a "Spitzer Burger" to the menu in Boston. Local bloggers spotted an interesting sign outside Mr. Bartley's Burger Cottage in Cambridge. The famous burger joint is now selling the "Spitzer Burger," named after New York Gov. Elliot Spitzer, who's accused of paying thousands for a prostitute to have sex with him at an upscale hotel in Washington. "(The burger's) hot, sexy and you save $4,291.01." Bartley's says the burger is made with Cajun seasoning and is topped with blue cheese dressing.

What happened?" by Daniel Gross. "The dollar plunged to new lows against foreign currencies this week. There are plenty of reasons for its plunge, but at the most basic level, the dollar's weakness reflects the world's collective, two-thumbs-down verdict about the ability of the United States—businesses, individuals, the government, the Federal Reserve—to manage the global financial system and the world's largest economy."
