This is Marty Carpenter in for Lane Beattie of the Salt Lake Chamber with your Utah Business Report.

It's less than one month before 2014! Ring in the New Year at EVE, Salt Lake City's three day celebration downtown on December 29th, 30th and 31st.

EVE is more than just a party—it's an expression of optimism, creativity and community. For three nights, diverse groups are drawn to our region's urban center to share in art, culture, music and winter activities.

Hosted downtown at the Salt Palace, EVE kicks off December 29th and culminates in a grand display of fireworks at midnight on December 31st. During those three days, you can enjoy live music, DJs and other performances while kids can play in bounce town and in the ball room.

A three-day pass for EVE is only 15 dollars and includes access to eight downtown venues such as Discovery Gateway, Clark Planetarium, The Off Broadway Theatre, Temple Square and Broadway Cinemas.

EVE is unique to Utah. It was created to build on our Olympic legacy, as we celebrate the dawning of a healthier and happier new year. You can learn more at EVEslc.com.
