ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Jen Reese scored 18 points and hauled in seven rebounds to lead No. 16 Colorado to an 85-53 rout over New Mexico on Saturday.
Reese was 7 of 10 from the field, including two 3-pointers, and got help from four other Buffaloes in double-digits: Lexy Kresl with 13 points, Lauren Huggins with 12, Jasmine Sborov with 11 points, and Jamee Swan with 10 and eight rebounds. Undefeated on the season, the win also extended the Buffaloes non-conference win streak to 28.
Colorado (4-0) took control early in the first half, heading into the break with a 42-28 advantage, then continued to pull away with 55.6 percent shooting from the field, hitting 10 of 18 from beyond the arc. They remain atop the PAC 12 from the free throw line by hitting 75 percent, 15 of 20.
Sara Halasz led New Mexico (1-3) with 16 points and six rebounds.
