SALT LAKE CITY — Game Night Live will broadcast live from Bingham high school Friday night on KSL 5. The No. 1 ranked Miners will host No. 2 ranked Brighton in a battle of unbeaten teams in Region 3.

Bingham opened the season as the No. 1 team in the state and has lived up to the hype dominating in-state competition and coming away with a thrilling overtime win over four-time Colorado state champion Valor Christian.

They have yet to play a Utah team as talented as Brighton so this game will be a big test for them.

Brighton entered the season with a lot of talent but not many expected them to be 6-0 and ranked No. 2 in the state entering week 7. The Bengals have won all six games by 10 points or more including last week's win over rival Alta 38-28.

The Bengals could make the season even better with a road win over the No. 1 team in the state.

Here are four other great games to watch Friday night:

Dixie at Desert Hills, 7 p.m.

A little bit of the luster was knocked off this game by Pine View and their upset of Desert Hills last week. This is still a fantastic matchup in 3AA South as the defending state champion Flyers hope to remain the only undefeated team in region play while a Desert Hills win can even things up at the top of the region standings.

Pleasant Grove at Lone Peak, 7 p.m.

Pleasant Grove suffered their first defeat of the season last week a humbling 38-7 loss at home to unranked Riverton. The best way for them to move forward would be to go on the road and knock off their rivals. Lone Peak can ill-afford a third region loss but by beating PG they could climb back into the top half of the standings.

Richfield at Manti, 7 p.m.

Manti was expected to be in the position when the season began but not many had Richfield at 6-0 and ranked entering week 7. Here they are and they can legitimize themselves as contenders with a road win over the Templars.

Woods Cross at Highland, 7 p.m.

Region 6 is tough once again this game between Woods Cross and Highland could end being the difference between a home playoff game and traveling in round one. Both teams are 2-1 in region with their only region loss coming to East.
