OGDEN — The Iron Horse may not seem much to many people outside of Ogden, but for those associated with Ogden High School and Ben Lomond High, it means everything.
Friday night will be the 60th edition of the Iron Horse game between the Tigers and Scotts. Ryan Ormond, the defensive end for Ben Lomond has seen the Iron Horse game a number of times.
"I live across the street from the school and when it was at Ben Lomond I would go over a look at it every day," he said.
Ormond hasn't been able to do that during his time as a member of the Scott football as the Tigers have won the last five meetings including a 54-0 route last year on the Tiger turf. Friday night's game will be played at Ben Lomond. Scotts will be looking for their first win this season while the Tigers hope to end a four game losing streak after winning the opener.
Game Night Live will be at another rivalry game Friday night between Woods Cross and Bountiful. GNL will broadcast live from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. from the Bountiful High School football field and then have the game live right on ksl.com kicking off at 7 p.m.
