SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Morgan Warburton scored 24 points and Leilani Mitchell had 16 points and 12 assists to lead No. 18 Utah to its 17th consecutive win, 82-45 over Brigham Young on Tuesday night.

Warburton had 13 points in a 30-5 second-half run that turned a tight game into a blowout. The junior guard tied an 18-year-old school record by making all 12 of her free throw attempts.

Utah's winning streak is one behind Chattanooga's for longest in the nation. The last loss for the Utes (22-3, 11-0 Mountain West) was 62-45 at Southern California on Dec. 3.

Lauren Varley's layup brought the Cougars within 43-34 before Warburton scored 10 straight points to spark the game-breaking run.

Shawnee Slade and Mallary Carling both had nine points for BYU (12-11, 6-5), which has lost three of four.

The Utes, who scored 21 points off 12 turnovers in the second half, finished 19-of-20 from the free throw line.

Kalee Whipple scored 18 points, including three 3-pointers, and Jessica Perry added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Utes who have not lost at home this season.

In their earlier meeting, Utah took a 22-0 lead on the way to an 80-49 win at BYU.
