SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Utes will be looking to build on their 2-0 start with a victory over the injury-plagued Oregon State Beavers Saturday. The game is important for both programs, but a victory for Utah may have a bigger impact on future seasons.

As the Utes and Beavers take to the turf, six recruits are scheduled to be in the stadium for an official visit. Four-star recruit Jeff Farrar, from Upland, Calif, will be in attendance after verbally committing with Virginia in early August. Farrar is ranked 188 on the ESPN 300. He is a multi-faceted athlete, playing wide receiver on offense and defensive back on defense.

Farrar originally committed to UCLA in November 2012 after attending every single home game, but later changed his mind and committed to Virginia. Whether Farrar is planning to de-commit from Virginia is unknown, but a Utah victory could possibly convince Farrar to commit to a third school.

"It's good to see everybody play good competition," Farrar told ESPN.com. "The reason I'm taking this trip is because it's homecoming and a big game and I want to see the atmosphere. I've seen their games on TV, so I know there will be a lot of red in the stadium."

Florida classmates Nigel Bethel, Lamar Parker and Deltron Hopkins, all from Booker T. Washington High School, are expected to be in attendance Saturday. Bethel is a four-star cornerback and is ranked 238 on the ESPN 300. He verbally committed to Miami in July 2013, but is still visiting Utah.

Parker is a four-star wide receiver and is ranked 230 on the ESPN 300. He, too, has already verbally committed to another school — West Virginia. Hopkins, however, has not received an offer from Utah, but has listed Utah as his only school of interest, according to scout.com.

Also visiting on Saturday is junior college wide receiver Brandon Snell (Garden City, Kan.) and Juwan Dowels (Davie, Fla.). Neither have received offers from Utah, but list Utah as a school of interest, according to scout.com.
