BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. (AP) - A Broncos executive accused of crashing into two cars in the high country while driving drunk has made his first appearance in court.

Director of player personnel Matt Russell is accused of DUI after a vehicle ran in to the back of a police car in Summit County over the 4th of July holiday.

According to KCNC-TV ( http://tinyurl.com/kntuhrm), an attorney representing Russell said more investigation is needed.

Russell was suspended indefinitely from the team and is being provided with treatment, rehabilitation and counseling. The Broncos organization said he must comply with these programs before he will be allowed to return to work.
