Megastar MADONNA's designer pal JEAN PAUL GAULTIER is racing to finish off the glitzy wardrobe he has designed for her upcoming CONFESSIONS tour.
Gaultier, who created Madonna's infamous conical bustier for her 1990 BLONDE AMBITION tour, has been glued to his sewing machine in a bid to fulfil her demands in time for Sunday (21MAY06).
Her requests included flared trouser suits, velvet cropped trousers, sexy blouses and a sparkly pink jumpsuit, using lavish fabrics including taffeta, duchess satin, Chantilly lace and silk chiffon.
He says, "It's her baby as a tour. She's in total command, like the director of a movie." (ZJS/MAD/JB)
