PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) - Two-time major champion Angel Cabrera has withdrawn from the PGA Championship because of an injured left wrist.

Cabrera opened with a 10-over 80 and made it through 11 holes Friday before calling it quits.

It wasn't clear when he injured the wrist.

The 43-year-old Argentinian won the U.S. Open in 2007 and the Masters two years later. Cabrera nearly claimed a third major title at Augusta National in April, losing to Adam Scott in a Masters playoff.
