This is Marty Carpenter in for Lane Beattie of the Salt Lake Chamber with your Utah Business Report.
The Days of ‘47 celebration 2013 will be full of thrills and spills. Schedule your summer plans to take advantage of our many activities — most of which are free to the public. Grab your hat, pull on those boots and come on down!
As part of the celebrations, there will be concerts, a First Encampment Hike and a Family Festival. One concert will show tonight and tomorrow at Abravanel Hall, featuring violinist Jenny Oaks Baker and tenor George Dyer.
Starting next Friday, July 19th, there will be bucking broncos, feisty cowboys and racing cowgirls at the Days of '47 Rodeo. The rodeo is back downtown at the EnergySolutions arena this year.
And of course, there will be an All Horse Parade on July 18th and a Youth Parade on July 20th. And of course, we can't forget about The Days of '47 KSL 5 Parade. That will be held on Wednesday, July 24th, starting at 9 a.m. For more about the Days of '47 activities, visit DaysOf47.com. That's DaysOf47.com
