SALT LAKE CITY — Just like chick flicks pander towards women, there are stereotypical movies that are targeted towards the male audience. Typically a "guy movie" is classified as having massive amounts of violence or action, nice cars and extremely attractive women. Or the movie is all about sports.

While these movie elements may not typically tickle a woman's fancy, there are a few guy movies out there that women will also find enjoyable. Here are five of them:

Warrior

This movie is a classic example of uniting people everywhere to cheer for the underdog. Reminiscent of "Rudy" and "Miracle," "Warrior" tells the story of two brothers that pick up MMA fighting to pay the bills. Older brother, Joel Edgerton will gain the respect of women everywhere as he fights to support his family and how he interacts with his children. It's precious. And for those women out there who appreciate a "bad boy," they will root for rebellious younger brother, Tom Hardy.

Ocean's Eleven

In my opinion, this movie has it all. Women will love the thrilling story plot about a Vegas casino heist, as well as the romantic tension between Julia Roberts and ex-husband, George Clooney. "Ocean's Eleven" appeals to all audiences with the witty dialogue, fabulous cast and clever plot twists. Oh, and ladies did I mention Brad Pitt?

Casino Royale

It has basically been established that the James Bond movies are the manliest movies of all time. Bond's character is the epitome of what every guy wishes he was — a wealthy, talented, secret agent who is good with the ladies. However, some of the newer James Bond movies starring Daniel Craig will also appeal to women. "Casino Royale" is one that women will enjoy because, while it has a lot of action and violence, there is also a compelling storyline that leaves you holding your breath and cheering Bond on as he tries to win a high-stakes poker game. Women will also be glad to see a soft side to Bond in this flick.

Jack Reacher

While this movie has some disturbing violence, it attracts female viewers with the mysterious story line. Tom Cruise plays "Jack Reacher," an ex-military cop who still fights for justice. Women will also admire Reacher's role as a defender of women who are being used and abused by their male counterparts. Women will also appreciate Rosamund Pike as she plays a strong, intelligent lawyer who helps solve the case. I always appreciate when women are in roles where they are intelligent rather than just beautiful.

Bourne Identity

Last but not least, the "Bourne Identity" is a good, suspenseful, action-packed show that women will enjoy. Women will appreciate Matt Damon's boyish innocence as he tries to piece together his life, unaware that he is a trained killer. Amid all the action of being chased by fellow assassins, Damon also has a budding romance with accomplice, Franka Potente. The movie keeps you at full attention as you try to figure out Damon's true identity.
