Turkeys are interesting birds- they're large, colorful and hard to miss when they are in a demonstrating mood. Male, or tom, turkeys have a number of features that experts believe are intended to attract female turkeys. These include the familiar fleshy red wattles on its neck and throat as well as the display of "strutting", in which a male turkey puffs out his feathers, spreads his tails and drags his wings.
But, our Burt Brothers quiz question tonight is. What is the fleshy mass a male turkey has that hangs over it's beak?
Now, If you know the answer, look for KSL Outdoors on Facebook, find our contest link, give us the name of this fleshy, flap of skin and you'll be entered to win a Goal Zero, Guide 10, plus mobile kit from our friends at Goal Zero. KSL Outdoors, powered by Ford will be right back.
