Back-to-back sacrifice flies in the ninth inning gave the Las Vegas 51s a come from behind 4-3 win over the Salt Lake Bees on Wednesday night. The Bees had taken a 3-2 lead in the seventh on a solo home run by Brian Specht, but Las Vegas loaded the bases off Greg Jones (1-3) on a single, a bad hop double and an intentional walk. The 51s tied the game on Russell Martin's fly ball to right field and took the lead on Sergio Garcia's sacrifice fly to center.
Erick Aybar had three hits, which snapped a 1-for-19 skid, and scored two runs to lead the Salt Lake offense. Steven Shell was solid in his second career AAA start, as he allowed just two runs on five hits over seven innings with three strikeouts and one walk. Reggie Willits delivered a run scoring triple in the third inning to put the Bees ahead 2-1. Willits is now 4-for-10 since coming back to Salt Lake from the Angels.
