OGDEN — Four Weber State players were named to the 2012-13 Big Sky All-Conference Men's Basketball Team, which was announced Monday by the conference. The team was determined in a vote of the league's 11 head coaches. Weber State finished the regular season 24-5 and was second in the Big Sky with an 18-2 conference record.

Two Wildcats, Scott Bamforth and Davion Berry, were named to the All-Conference first team. Berry was also honored as the Newcomer of the Year. Kyle Tresnak was named to the second team and Frank Otis earned honorable mention honors.

Bamforth earned All-Conference honors for the third time in his three years at Weber State and earned first team honors for the second time. He also earned the honor as a sophomore in 2011. This season Bamforth ranks 11th in the Big Sky in scoring at 13.3 points per game, and averaged 13.9 per game in conference games. The Albuquerque, N.M., native leads the Big Sky in free throw percentage at 88.1 percent. He needs just 19 more three-pointers to become the school's all-time leader.
