More paintings being shipped from Florida to New York were reported stolen yesterday.

A representative of Swedish artist Hawk Alfredson - whose work is on display at The Chelsea Hotel - told The Post that six of his client's paintings, worth more than $50,000, have disappeared.

Alfredson's paintings - known for a freakish, edgy quality - were on the same truck as works by Milton Avery that were reported missing Monday.

All of the paintings were supposed to have been delivered to New York by David Jones Fine Arts Services in Boca Raton, an art-handling firm. But the firm's driver - ex-con Patrick Joseph McIntosh - disappeared along with the truck and is suspected of stealing the art.

"We were planning to show those works, with about a dozen other paintings by Mr. Alfredson, at a private gathering in our gallery," said Fred Miller of Original Artists.
