Hollywood beauty ANGELINA JOLIE has rubbished the enduring media perception of her as a dark femme fatale character as entirely false.

The GIRL, INTERRUPTED star won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her portrayal of a patient in a mental hospital and she used to wear a vial of ex-husband BILLY BOB THORNTON's blood around her neck

But the 30-year-old expectant mum insists she is really a normal, everyday person.

Jolie says, "People think that I carry a dark secret with me or that I'm obsessed with death. The truth is that I am probably the least morbid person one can meet." (FA/WNSEX/GES)
