KSL's Jay McFarland rolls out new ways to hurdle yourself: MOVEO's collapsible scooter, Boarder Kontrol's snowboard handbrake and Matthew Barney's graffiti skateboard.
The MOVEO is a collapsible scooter that folds to the size of carry-on luggage. This compact scooter's top speed is 28 miles-per-hour and will cost around $3,100.
Learning to snowboard just got safer with this new handbrake for snowboards. It's called the Boarder Kontrol System and allows newbie-boarders to slow down by simply pulling on a strap that activates a break to dig into the snow.
What's being called the graffiti skateboard fuses art and sport by mapping out the rider's path. The skateboard's nose is outfitted with graphite. Wherever the board travels, a line is drawn showing the path of the skateboarder.
