(Salt Lake City-AP) -- Utah gas prices are averaging two-dollars a gallon in Utah.

That's right in line with the national average.

Triple-A Utah reports the average gas prices in Utah are up 15-cents from last month and 44-cents from last year.

Motorists in St. George and Moab are paying the most with average gas prices at two-dollars seven cents a gallon. Vernal's next with two dollars and two cents a gallon.

But drivers in Salt Lake City are paying the least at about a dollar-96 a gallon.

Analysts say bottlenecks at U-S refineries, heavy speculative investment in oil futures and concerns about security in the Middle East have been adding fuel to the soaring prices.
