(KSL News) -- A warning today about three little numbers found on the back of most credit cards.
Thieves with stolen account numbers are now calling their unsuspecting victims to get them to reveal that three-digit code necessary to make purchases. The crooks pose as bank officials investigating a suspicious charge on the account.
Bottom line: never give out credit card numbers over the phone, including that three-digit code. If you ever get an unsolicited call from a bank official, hang up and call the bank yourself.
