(KSL News) A commemoration of Utah's wild lands stitched together by scores of people is now on display in the Salt Lake County Government Center at 2100 South State.
The Wilderness Quilt features 165 "testimonials" by people from all walks of life.
The scenes in the quilt each reflect thoughts on why the state's wildlands are important to preserve.
You can see the quilt in person at the Salt Lake County Government Center, North Building until Jan. 30. It's in the atrium and art hallway of the center. Visitors to the exhibit are invited to write down their own wilderness testimonials, which will be added to the growing Wildness Quilt.
The exhibit is open Monday through Saturday between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.
