February 12, 2007 was a day that started out like any other for Vickie Walker and her family.

It was also a day that ended like no other in Salt Lake City, with five dead and four wounded at the hands of a young gunman - victims that included Vickie's husband Jeff and son A.J.

Life hasn't been easy for the Walker's the past six years, In fact, it's been really hard.

But Vickie says the key to moving forward is hope. Click the video to hear her inspiring story.

Vickie says she's also learned that people are caring and good, prayer is powerful, we are stronger than we think we are, and we should spend our time on the truly important things in life.
