SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz don't have anyone playing in the All-Star game, but they will have at least one player who gets to participate.

The defending Slam Dunk Champion Jeremy Evans will have his chance to defend his crown All Star Weekend. The third year player who is known for his highlight dunks will get to show off again.

Last year Evans was added late after and injury and an Twitter campaign of #LetJeremyDunk that Jazz fans started. He ended up winning the contest by jumping over Gordon Hayward while dunking two balls.

"It is very exciting to have the opportunity to participate, not just for the first time, but to be able to go back for a second time," Evans said. "I want to top what I did last year and come out and try to win it again."

He will be going up against Eric Bledsoe of the Clippers, Kenneth Faried of the Nuggets, Gerald Green of the Pacers, Terrence Ross of the Raptors and James White of the Knicks.

The contest will be at 6 p.m. Saturday Feb. 16 and shown on TNT.

If anyone has forgotten why Evans should be in it, take a look at his signature dunk this year over Ronny Turiaf.

No other Jazz players will participate in an event despite a small contingent of Jazz fans working on getting Randy Foye into the 3-point contest with #LetRandyShoot.

Foye didn't make it despite being top-10 in the 3-point shooting and extremely hot over the past month.
