The Jazz host the Rockets Monday at EnergySolutions arena at 7:00 p.m., but it's the Sundance film-star Jeremy Lin and his bio-flick "Linsanity" that is the most intriguing storyline.
The new documentary "Linsanity", featuring Jeremy Lin's rise to the NBA premiered Sunday night at the Sundance Film Festival and Lin was in attendance.
DeMarre Carroll has no plans to catch the fever or the film, "No, most definitely not. Congratulations for him and his film, but I'm really not into 'Linsanity',".

Although Carroll might not have interest in the movie, he appreciates Lin's road to success, "It's a blessing. A lot of guys, even myself, look at guys like that who took advantage of the opportunity. He was sleeping on his brothers futon now he is one of the stars in the league. It lets people know that if you keep putting in work eventually somebody will see it."
Jazz leading scorer Al Jefferson recognizes the tough rise from obscurity, "I have respect for him, it's just a prime example of keeping God first and have that commitment. You can be whatever you want to be. It's an amazing story, he came a long way and he deserves all the success he has."
Jazz forward Marvin Williams was playing on the east coast last year, with Atlanta, during the height of Lin-sanity. "I think it's pretty awesome and would be kind of nice to see. I definitely am a fan from afar and just to see how humble he is and his walk to get this far."
If the shoe were on the other foot, Al Jefferson wouldn't be interested in a movie, "A movie wouldn't be able to hold my whole life. I've got a lot to tell. I'm much more suited for a cartoon like 'Family Guy'".
As for Carroll, if a Sundance film were ever made for himself, he already has his name picked out, "Junk Yard Dog Dance", that's what it would be."
The Jazz have split with the Rockets this year, winning 102-91 at home in November and dropping 124-116 in Houston in early December.
