8" of ice and good fishing for perch, trout and splake. Fish for perch just outside of weed beds. Use small jigs and ice flies tipped with mealworms, wax worms, nightcrawlers or cut bait. Larger rainbow trout and splake are being caught at 20- to 40-foot depths, on the bottom or suspended over deep water.
Hyrum Reservoir
6-9 inches of ice reported and fishing is great for trout! Anglers catching their limits using small ice jigs tipped with night crawlers, wax worms and meal worms. Some anglers using shrimp and Powerbait as well.
