[CG :2 Line\Hunter Norris\Spoiled!]

We kick it off with twelve year old Hunter Norris and the huge 390 class Colorado bull he took with an over the counter tag on public land. He and his dad were hunting deer with good friend Corey Hays. Cory initially spotted the bull but didn't have a tag, Hunter did and was able to harvest it with one shot two days later. This is Hunter's first big game animal. Can you say spoiled!

[CG :2 Line\Porter Evans\First buck]

Young Porter Evans had a great weekend, with lots of hiking, riding and hard work. But it all paid off with this dandy buck, his first. Porter was hunting down near Escalante, it was the last day he and his family had to hunt and boy are they glad they stayed. It sounds like it was a great experience for the young man, some great memories for the whole family.

[CG :2 Line\Brett Hodge\Good job Bridge!]

We met Bridgely a few weeks ago while she was pheasant hunting at the DWR'S youth hunt down in Holden. KSL contributor Jeff Bringhurst was nice enough to take Bridgely out for her first swan hunt and it looks like her practice shooting pheasants paid off. Dad says his family are not waterfowl hunters, but after this trip they are definitely considering it.

[CG :2 Line\Shane Leifson\Dreaming of the big one.]

On this years bow hunt 6 year old Sawyer Leifson was told that he would need to hold still and be quiet. Any parent knows this can be a tough job for any kid. While taking a break on a log Sawyer took holding still to a new level and fell a sleep!!

[CG :2 Line\Nathan Allred\WINNER!]

And finally our winner tonight was just about to call it quits when this giant brown trout took him for a ride. Nathan and his son Jacob were fishing Causey Reservoir back in December and just when they couldn't take the relentless blizzard anymore this monster hit Nate lure. The big brown taxed every ounce of Nate's six pound test line and after twenty minutes Nate had it close enough to shore to jump in and wrestle it to the snowy bank. The twenty one pound fish was the only the fish of the day, but well worth as you just netted our big prize Nate for having the snapshot of the week.
