SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Tyler Haws and Matt Carlino each scored 22 points and BYU overcame a nine-point halftime deficit to beat San Francisco 80-76 on Saturday night.

Carlino added seven rebounds, five steals and four assists to his point total and the Cougars (12-4, 2-0 West Coast) shot 49.2 percent from the field, making 31 of 63 attempts.
San Francisco (8-7, 0-2) torched the net in the first half, hitting 16 of 26 from the field for a 61.5 percent mark, but shot just 40 percent in the second half and was 2 of 11 from beyond the arc after hitting 9 of 13 in the first half.
Cody Doolin had 22 points, 10 assists and four rebounds while Cole Dickerson had 22 points and nine rebounds for the Dons.
Brock Zylstra scored 16 points and had seven rebounds for BYU and Josh Sharp had six points and 10 rebounds.
