We are now more connected than ever. And all of that connectivity has some people worried about how it could be used. One web security group says a new level of crime will soon appear.
Internet Identity sent out a press release predicting that before 2014 the world will see it's first "murder by Internet." They say it could be done by turning off an internet connected health device, or by altering the control systems of an Internet-connected car. And because it could all be done remotely, prosecutors would have to change some of their tactics to link someone directly to the crimes.
Of course, Internet Identity is a security company -- so if people aren't scared -- they aren't making money. So, we thought we would get a second opinion. Internet security expert Cody Hatch joined us in studio to tell us more.
