Elder Trevor Strong of Taylorsville, Utah and Elder Derek Walker of Fairfield, Idaho were killed just over a year ago while riding their bikes in Donna, Texas.

The two had served in the Texas McAllen mission.

To honor the elders, a group of missionary moms who currently have sons serving in that mission, came together to create a Christmas tree for The Festival of Trees fundraiser benefiting charity care at Primary Children's Medical Center.

The theme of the tree is "Eternal Ties". Watch the video to see how the community got involved in the memorial tree and how it proved to be a spiritual experience for those involved in the project.
