Six Badgers named All-Americans

EPHRAIM - Snow College is Ephraim finished No. 3 in the final National Junior College Athletic Association poll released today, and six Badgers where named to All American teams.

Offensive lineman Andrew Mitchell, defensive lineman Coleby Clawson and linebacker Josh Sharp were named to the first team. Clawson committed to play at BYU next year and Mitchell has verbally committed to play at Oklahoma State.

Snow defensive back Andrew Rich and running back Soni Sotele were named to the second team, and Tevita Hola, defensive lineman and BYU commit, was named as an honorable mention.

"We had an amazing season and all these guys deserve this," said head coach Steve Coburn. "I am proud of the entire team for the season we put together."

The Badgers finished the regular season 11-0 and ranked No. 1 in the nation. Snow lost to No. 2 Butler Community College 56-27 Dec. 1 in the Zions Bank Top of the Mountains Bowl in Salt Lake. When the final NJCAA poll was released today, Snow was third behind co-national champions Butler and Mississippi Gulf Coast.
