[CG :2 Line\Austin Hadley\29 inch, 210 gross!]

This is one of the biggest typical buck we've ever had submitted to our contest. 18 year old Austin Hadley was hunting on some family owned property up Chalk Creek when his younger brother Tyler and cousin Kayson shot at another buck that ended up bumping this buck. Austin jumped the buck four times, but was able to take the 210 gross scoring buck down for good.

[CG :2 Line\Brandi Frandsen\4 Generations = good hunt]

Four generations of hunters, ages 4 to 77, hit the hills this year. Five bucks were the result. They friends and family enjoyed the success, the beautiful weather, but most of all they enjoyed each others company. Brandi says, this could not have been a better hunt.

After his twin brother Chase bagged a huge bull. and made our snapshot contest, Chad decided it was his turn. Check out the nice buck he bagged on a cold, tough day. The twins had a great year, taking a good bull and 2 fine bucks. Dad wanted to thank the DWR for the opportunity they have given the kids.

Aaron and 9 year old Charley spent the week hunting with family and friends. After the end of a 6 mile hike Aaron told Charley he wanted to peek over one last draw before, that's where thhe saw this great 27" wide buck trying to sneak through the brush. The buck never saw them until the click from Aaron's safety. Aaron said the best part was experiencing it with Charley who was with him every step of the way.

[CG :2 Line\Tyler Hendrickson\Snow is magic]

After waiting several hours at the mouth of I-84 for it to open during a snow storm, cousins, Tyler and Clint, knew this was a day they didn't want to miss. With 8 inches of fresh snow, a late morning start wasn't going to discourage them. Within an hour Tyler had bagged a nice 4x4. A few hours later Clint had shot an equally nice 3x4. Tyler kept telling Clint, "This snow is magic! The big bucks just seem to come out of nowhere." It was a deer hunt they will always remember.
